Carbon Monoxide Detector with AA Battery Backup, Test-Hush Button

The Kidde Carbon Monoxide Detector with Plug-In Wall Design and AA Battery Backup utilizes electrochemical sensor technology to detect dangerous CO gas in your home and emit an 85-decibel alarm to alert you. Setting up this carbon monoxide alarm is a breeze, as it simply plugs into a standard 120V AC power outlet in your home. It also comes equipped with two AA alkaline batteries (included) to serve as a backup in the case of a power outage.

Once carbon monoxide is detected, the digital display on the alarm will show the level of gas being sensed and will update every 15 seconds. The Peak Level Memory feature keeps a record of when carbon monoxide was last detected or when the unit was last tested. The Smart-Hush button allows you to silence the detector for around 8 minutes, which can be convenient when the alarm goes off due to activities like cooking or showering.

For added safety, it is recommended to install a carbon monoxide smoke detector combo on every floor of your home and near bedrooms. This device is UL Certified and comes with a 10-year limited manufacturer's warranty. It meets the requirements of UL 2034, UL217, NFPA72, NFPA101 (One and two family dwellings), Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Housing and Urban Development (HUD), as well as the State of California Fire Marshal regulations.
