For installation, it is recommended to place the detector in bedrooms, corridors, basements, cars, and living areas. Due to the properties of carbon monoxide being lighter than air, the detector should be installed between 0.3-1 meter below the ceiling. Avoid areas with excessive water vapor flow, smoke, high humidity, dust, or pollution. Additionally, avoid locations with high wind speeds.
The alarm features a 3-color LED indicator to easily determine its operating status: green for normal operation, red for smoke alarm, and blue for carbon monoxide alarm. With a test/silence button, users can manually test the alarm and silence false alarms. The LCD display shows real-time carbon monoxide levels in the air and operates on 3 x 1.5V AA batteries.
Specifications for the detector include a temperature range of 0℃-50℃, relative humidity of 10-95%, and detection of carbon monoxide concentrations between 000-999 PPM.
