2. How to Test the Alarm: Follow these 3 steps to test the alarm - Step 1: Install the batteries in clean air and press the test button for five seconds to test the unit's electronics, beeps will sound if it's normal. Step 2: Leave it in clean air for one minute. Step 3: Put it into a sealed bag, spray some smoke or CO gas into the bag, and seal it. The alarm will go off if it's normal. Do not test it by directly burning something under the alarm.

3. How to Silence the Alarm: For smoke alarm beeps, press the test/reset button to mute the alarm. If you want to exit the mute state, press the button again manually or it will auto-exit after about 6 minutes or when clean air is detected. For CO alarm beeps, it will only silence if clear air is detected, otherwise, it will keep alarming until the air is cleaned.
